(Berkeley, CA)  --  A University of California study finds long-term use of lipsticks could possibly result in kidney problems and even cancer.  After testing 32 top brands of lipsticks and lip glosses, UC Berkeley researchers discovered low amounts of lead, cadmium, chromium and aluminum in the cosmetics.  Though short-term use of lip products containing those heavy metals likely poses no health risk, scientists are concerned that overexposure could be harmful.  Exposure to toxic metals has been linked to kidney disease and stomach tumors.
