On Wednesdayâs âTonight Show,â Jimmy Fallon slammed Donald Trumpâs astounding Charlottesville press conference. Watch the video above!
As Gossip Cop reported, Fallon shared a heartfelt message about the violence in Charlottesville during his opening monologue on Mondayâs âTonight Show.â Abandoning his usual jokes about the president, the late night host said of the violence in Virginia, âEven though âThe Tonight Showâ isnât a political show, itâs my responsibility to stand up against intolerance and extremism as a human being.â He added, âWhat happened over the weekend in Charlottesville, Virginia, was just disgusting. I was watching the news like everyone else, and when youâre seeing Nazi flags and torches and white supremacists, I was sick to my stomach.â
But in a shift from Monday nightâs emotional monologue, Fallon returned to his comedic self, mocking Trumpâs Tuesday press conference. âPresident Trump gave a big press conference on the subject of infrastructure. All he had to do was just stop right there. Just stop talking. For five minutes,â Fallon joked. âMind you, this is him on vacation. He canât even get vacation right! Imagine coming back to the office, âHey, how was your two-week break?â âIt was good. I defended Nazis. Whatâd you do?â I think Grandpaâs getting loopy.â
He went on, âI guess this morning he went to the Trump Tower lost and found looking for his mind. Itâs crazy. Iâm starting to miss the old days when we were on the verge of nuclear war with North Korea.â And as Gossip Cop reported, Jimmy Kimmel also slammed Trumpâs Charlottesville press conference on Tuesdayâs âJimmy Kimmel Live,â branding the president as a âtotal disasterâ for arguing that âboth sidesâ of the clashes in Virginia were to blame for the violence.
