Diddy & JAY-Z Teaming Up To Make App That Spotlights Black-Owned Businesses

Diddy is gracing the latest cover of GQ and in his cover story, the mogul speaks about the music industry, the late Notorious B.I.G., his love for Kendrick Lamar, partnering with JAY-Z on a special project and more.

According to the businessman, there is an application that he's currently working on with his friend and fellow New York hip hop mogul Hov. It's something that's much needed, and has been for quite some time. But, it's now coming to fruition and once it's up and running, it will help millions of people who are in need of such a game-changing product.

Diddy and JAY are now developing an app that will highlight black-owned businesses in the user's area, which will help more people be aware of these businesses and support them. "My thing is most importantly to change the narrative of the black race. I can't relate to anything that isn't about that," Puff told GQ.

Diddy continued that the app won't be taking away from any other person's business. Instead, it'll bring much needed attention to businesses who many may not even be aware of. "I don't believe in passiveness. At some point, there has to be some kind of fight," Diddy states. "I feel like we've done a lot of marching. It's time to start charging.”
