Blake Lively is reliving the painful millennial beauty secret from high school after being shocked by how Gen Z does things.
Lively attended this year's CFDA Fashion Awards in a gorgeous white dress with matching white blazer, and following the event, the actress took to Instagram to thank her makeup artist, Carolina Gonzalez, for a "Gen Z trick" to give the appearance of fuller lips. She shared on her Instagram stories, "When @cgonzalezbeauty does the Gen Z eye shadow lip trick to make your lips look huge..."
On the next slide, she shared that she used to put "alarming amounts" of chili peppers inside her lip gloss for a plumped look. She wrote, "But then... You wash off your makeup & accept that you're a millennial girl who, in high school used to wear lip gloss with alarming amounts of chili peppers inside for a plump because we were THAT committed to bad ideas. Turns out eye shadows is way less painful than Carolina Reapers."
Blake added, "Thank you @cgonzalezbeauty for not turning my mouth into an episode of Hot Ones."
