What does Ariana Grande have up her sleeve?
The Wicked star, 32, teased an upcoming mystery project during a new interview with Variety, but decided against revealing the nature of the venture, whether it is music-related or involves her growing acting career, and only hinting that it "contains multitudes," per People.
"There is something else I'm very excited about down the line," she said. "I can't say much yet, but it's something that inspires me deeply."
While she kept mum on the details of the forthcoming project while speaking with Variety, the "We Can't Be Friends" singer also addressed speculation that she plans to release new music before she hits the road on her Eternal Sunshine Tour this summer.
"No — definitely not. Nothing is coming before May," she said, adding of her fans, "I love them so much, but sometimes I want to ask, 'Do you think there's another version of me out there who had time to write a new album?' Not yet — but soon enough."
Grande later clarified the comment about music coming soon, replying to fans on Instagram that there "must've been a zoom glitch or something" because she "never said 'but soon enough,'" People reports. She hilariously added, "ma'am i would need an extra brain and four more arms."
Grande's Eternal Sunshine Tour kicks off in June. Her first tour in six years, she previously explained how it will be different than her tours of the past as well as how it could be her "last hurrah" for a "long time."
