Meghan Trainor Put On Strict Vocal Rest, Cancels Upcoming Jingle Ball Performances

Meghan Trainor has been put on strict vocal rest for the next two weeks, as ordered by her doctor. As a result, the singer has canceled her upcoming performances this month during the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour, including stops in New York, Washington D.C., Atlanta, and Miami, in order to recover.

Before hitting the stage last week, on Twitter she had mentioned that she wasn't feeling great, and said, "my voice isn't 100% right now." Now, a week later, Meghan hasn't been feeling any better.

On social media, Meghan posted a note addressed to her fans, writing:

"I posted last week that I wasn’t feeling great, but was powering through the best that I could. Unfortunately, I am not feeling any better and after leaving the doctor today, I have been put on strict vocal rest for the next two weeks. This absolutely kill me because I was so excited to see all of you on the road. I’m going to go home and rest so I can get back to see you all as soon as I can. I love you so much and am so appreciative of your love and support you constantly show me. You mean everything to me. Can’t wait to see you in 2017!"

Meghan has already performed at three stops on this year's iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour, including Dallas and Los Angeles. The rest of the tour will continue as scheduled.

We wish Meghan a happy holiday and a speedy recovery -- we hope she's feeling "better" soon! (See what we did there 😏)
