Sam Smith Delivers Moving Performance at Jingle Ball

Sam Smith let it all out at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball presented by Capital One at The Forum in Los Angeles on Friday, December 1.

The singer, who was introduced by Ryan Seacrest at the KIISFM hosted event, performed in concert for the first time hit new singles “Too Good at Goodbyes” and “Pray.” The tracks are off Sam’s recently dropped second studio album The Thrill of It All.

"This is my first time singing in America since I've released [my new album Thrill of It All] ... this next song is one of my favorites from the album," Sam shared before performing a moving rendition of "Pray."

The Grammy winner previously shared that he wrote the first single, “Too Good at Goodbyes,” while getting over a breakup.

"I put an armor up after that happened because it was the first time I had been in that situation," he told Billboard. "I felt a little bit more prepared for the heartbreak and that period when something awful happens."

Sam also performed “I’m Not the Only One,” “Like I Can,” and “Stay With Me.”

If you missed out on all the action, consider this your holiday gift. You'll be able to relive the night on The CW during a special 90-minute broadcast on December 14th and 25th at 8 p.m. ET/PT -- so put on your Santa hats, grab some gingerbread cookies, and tune in!
