A massive congratulations are in order for Dua Lipa! On Friday (Dec. 7), the "New Rules" singer found out she was nominated for her first ever Grammy awards. To say her reaction was extremely cute would be an understatement.
"I didn't think I would cry as much as I cried, but I was so overwhelmed," Dua told Elvis Duran backstage at iHeatRadio Jingle Ball. "I didn't even know what to do with myself, like, I was so proud and so humbled and so grateful. I don't even know how to explain. My day was just so surreal. I'm still processing it. It's so crazy to me." The first person Dua called after getting the news? Her mom, of course.
Despite her incredibly busy and successful year, Dua has no plans of slowing down. As for what's to come in 2019? She's not sure what the future holds yet, all she knows is how excited she is for what's next.
