The Chainsmokers Can't Wait To Top 2017 Grammys Party In Their Hometown

The Chainsmokers threw one of 2017's most epic Grammy parties to celebrate their inaugural invitation, and ultimately a win for Best Dance Recording. With the Grammys shifting to their hometown of New York City, and another nomination for their hit "Something Just Like This," the guys can't wait to top last year's festivities.

Before taking the stage for their performance at KIIS FM's Jingle Ball on Friday, groupmates Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall joined JoJo Wright to discuss why they are most excited about this year's nomination.

"We threw the best Grammy party ever last year," Pall said. "If we didn't get nominated, we couldn't throw a party. So now that we got nominated, we were like, 'Yes! We get to throw another party.' We're from New York so it's in the hometown, and that makes it pretty special."

The Chainsmokers also provided insight into their mindset as they approach the awards, and shared where they were when they learned of this year's nomination.
