Alicia Keys is back with a brand-new song inspired by the forthcoming film The Color Purple.

On Friday, November 24, the R&B singer delivered her latest tune "Lifeline" via gamma. On the uplifting track, Keys offers to be the "lifeline" to anyone in need. The brand-new track is the first single to come from the official soundtrack for The Color Purple starring Fantasia, Halle Barry and Taraji P. Henson. Along with "Lifeline," you can also expect to hear original tracks inspired by the film from H.E.R., Mary J.
