Justin Bieber opened his heart in a new message, zooming in on "hate" and how to let go of it.

The "Intentions" hitmaker revealed his thoughts on the hostile emotion in an Instagram Story on Sunday (March 16), per People.

"I was always told when I was a kid not to hate. But it made me feel like I wasn’t allowed to have it and so I didn’t tell anyone I’ve had it. Which made me feel like I've been drowning. Feeling unsafe to acknowledge it. I think we can only let hate go by first acknowledging it's there. How couldn’t we feel hate from all of the hurt we have experienced?"

The introspective message arrives on the heels of additional thoughts Bieber has shared with fans in recent weeks, the last being about self-doubt (as seen in screenshots obtained by People).

"People told me my whole life 'Wow Justin u deserve that,' and I personally have always felt unworthy. Like I was a fraud. Like when people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky like d*** if only they knew my thoughts. How judgmental I am, how selfish I really am, they wouldn't be saying this. I say all this to say, if you feel sneaky, welcome to the club. I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days," the star unveiled on Instagram last week.

On March 8th Bieber, husband to Hailey and father to baby Jack Blues, offered another relatable and encouraging note, assuring that "Nothing is owed to us and we [don’t] owe anyone anything." He told fans they do not have anything to prove after previously relaying that "Changing is about letting go."
