Iguanas Are Freezing And Falling From Trees In Florida [PHOTOS]

It’s so cold in Florida that iguanas are falling from their perches in trees.

Temperatures dipped below 40 degrees Fahrenheit early Thursday (1/4) in parts of South Florida, according to the National Weather Service in Miami. That's cold enough to immobilize green iguanas. Experts said their bodies shut off and they lose their grip on the tree.

Experts also said the reptiles perk up when the temperatures rises.
