Doctors rarely prescribe a trip to ease a sickness, but a vacation-- for one or two days or one or two weeks-- is great for your health. Here's why:

- People that take pleasure trips more often have healthier hearts
- You'll boost your creativity by getting out of your bubble
- It makes you a more open-minded person
- It gives you a perspective on people that will make you feel more connected to them.
I recently took a trip to Miami, Florida, and even though I only stayed for a few days, I was significantly less stressed and more productive when I returned.
