Lawmaker Drafts Bill To Ban “The Bachelor” From Minnesota

Minnesota lawmaker Drew Christensen plans to introduce a bill at an upcoming legislative session that would ban The Bachelor's Arie Luyendyk Jr. from entering the state.

Rep. Drew Christensen proposed the bill Monday (3/5) on Twitter:

He later tweeted "Drafting the bill now!" after the previous post went viral.

Christensen's decision to ban Luyendyk Jr. from the Land of 10,000 Lakes comes after Arie proposed to and dumped Prior Lake native Becca Kufrin on national television, sparking outrage in Bachelor Nation.

Kufrin was named The Bachelorette during the show's live After The Rose episode, which aired Tuesday night (3/6). Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette is expected to premiere later this year on ABC.
