The Old Taylor is back from the dead!
Taylor Swift surprised the world Friday (4/26) when she released ME!, a wholesome, happy-go-lucky love song (and accompanying music video) with Panic! At the Disco's Brendon Urie. The song, which Taylor's been teasing since 4/13, resurrects the Old Taylor, symbolized by butterflies, rainbows and ~magic~.
But what if I told you T-Swizzle's BFF Selena Gomez told us about ME! back in 2017?
In a caption on an Instagram photo of the A-list besties, Selena Gomez wrote:
I’m glad you were born. You write all the thoughts some aren’t able to articulate. (ME!) Thank you for giving a voice to this world that is authentic and inspiring. I wish some knew how big your heart actually is.. it’s fierce, bold and freaking wild with light. I’m glad you protect that. Love you @taylorswift

There it was. Right under our noses.
