Protests Against Police Brutality Over Death Of George Floyd Continue In NYC
Many celebrities took to the streets over the weekend to participate in nationwide protests in response to George Floyd's death (as well as Breonna Taylor's death, Tony McDade's death, Ahmaud Arbery's death and many others).
Floyd passed away after a Minneapolis police officer pinned him down and kneeled on his his neck. Floyd told the officer he couldn't breathe and, moments later, he passed away. Three other officers stood by and did nothing.
