Promise House’s signature event, Promise to Care: An Unsheltered Experience, formerly known as Sleep Out, invites North Texas’ business and community leaders to raise funds and awareness for Promise House and the homeless, abused and abandoned youth we serve.
Participants will spend the night on the Ron Kirk Pedestrian Bridge learning more about issues that homeless youth face and what the community can do to help youth in crisis. Promise House provides sleeping bags and cardboard, but unlike those experiencing real homelessness, participants have access to restrooms, on-site security, food and beverages. To kick off the experience, top contributors are invited to a pre-event VIP reception overlooking the Trinity River and Dallas skyline. The main event, open to all participants will be held in the open courtyard of the bridge and feature an entertaining ceremony.
The sleepout is on Thursday, March 7th. To register, visit promisehouse.org.
