80-person Human Chain Saves Family From Florida Riptide

A group of 80 strangers on the Florida coast created a human chain to save a family who got caught in the riptide back to the shore. The dozens of strangers who came to the family's rescue are now being hailed heroes.


The mother of the family who was caught in the riptide suffered a severe heart attack during the incident and is still being hospitalized. Her nephew suffered a broken wrist but is stable.
