Hey parents and kids … get ready for the first day of school at the free Mayor’s Back To School Fair for Dallas schoolchildren … this Friday, August 3rd, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fair Park’s Centennial Building. Presented by Walmart, the fair will offer free school supplies to children who qualify, plus health, dental and vision screenings, free haircuts, numerous services, entertainment and more.WALKUPS ARE WELCOME!NEW THIS YEAR: ALL Dallas ISD students will get free school supplies – just bring a school ID, recent report card or a printout from the Parent Portal.Other Dallas children from charter, private and home schools will get free school supplies if they qualify based on need – just bring a photo ID, proof of income and proof of residency.
