Incredible Maternity Shoot Connects Wife and Deployed Husband

This husband's love can be felt from across the world.

A Miami photographer created an incredible memory for U.S. Air Force service member Brandon Phillips and his wife Veronica with a one-of-kind maternity photo shoot.

Brandon, who's been deployed for months and gone for most of Veronica's pregnancy, will likely miss the birth of their first child, a boy.

Photographer Jennifer Ariel took to Instagram to share a few words about the incredible photo she created, "This mommy was so sweet, and her story touched my heart. Her husband is thousands of miles away serving our country. He is missing his beautiful wife's pregnancy and will be missing the birth of his baby. Thank you to our military for sacrificing for our country."

In an interview, Mrs. Phillips opened up about the hardships of experiencing pregnancy without her husband and was thrilled with the way her special photo turned out.

“She did an amazing job because the hand is actually on my belly which is hard to do,” Phillips told Inside Edition.  “I teared up. It’s hard [with] him being away. He can’t be here for the baby shower or appointments so it’s pretty hard sometimes."
